Background check / data removal scam — your records publicly exposed + pay to remove or enter personal info

What this tier means
High-confidence threat indicator — phishing, impersonation, BEC, or scam pattern. Strong contributor to the trash decision.
How Gorganizer detects this
Body contains a personal data exposure claim — your home address, phone number, criminal records, or profile was "found" and is publicly listed on data-broker sites (Spokeo, BeenVerified, Whitepages, Intelius, TruthFinder, etc.) — AND a monetisation or phishing element: a fee/subscription to "remove" your data, threat framing ("criminals/stalkers can find you"), "guaranteed removal from all sites", or a request for personal details to "check your record". Legitimate privacy companies (DeleteMe, Abine) are subscription services you sign up for — they don't cold-email you with fear messages and immediate payment demands. The FTC notes that data broker opt-out processes are legally required to be free — no company can charge you to exercise your opt-out rights under CCPA/privacy law. Actual data removal requires contacting each broker individually; no company can "guarantee" removal from all sites.
False-positive guard
Every signal in Gorganizer feeds a multi-module score — never a sole verdict. This is a threat-tier signal — it adds a strong contribution to the trash score. The full pipeline still requires convergence across multiple modules + a margin over the safety floor before deletion happens, and Gmail's trash (30-day recovery) is always used — never permanent delete.
About the scoring engine
Gorganizer's scoring engine emits 2,143+ signals across six modules — headers, sender, subject, body, attachments, and structural metadata. Every email is scored by every module independently; the final verdict requires multiple modules to agree and the trash score to beat the safety floor by a margin.
Sacred safety guards — never delete starred emails, replies, calendar invites, receipts/invoices, or attachments — apply unconditionally regardless of any signal.
