What this tier means
Warning signal — bulk / marketing / mild spam. Contributes to the trash score but is not by itself sufficient.
How Gorganizer detects this
FBI-documented Chinese state/criminal actor toll-violation smishing campaign delivered via email. Since late 2023, China-nexus threat actors (tracked as "Smishing Triad") have sent tens of millions of SMS messages and emails impersonating US toll agencies (E-ZPass, SunPass, FasTrak, TxDOT TollByPlate, MDTA, NTTA, etc.) claiming small unpaid toll balances ($3-$8) with escalating threat narrative: additional late fees, vehicle registration suspension, court referral. The small dollar amount creates low-friction urgency — victims assume it is a genuine administrative oversight. The payment link leads to a fake toll portal harvesting credit card data. The campaign is documented in FBI PSA IC3-2024, FTC consumer alert, CISA advisory AA24-038A, and multiple state DMV warnings. The signal fires when: (1) body references a US toll agency brand AND (2) unpaid-toll / violation / penalty narrative is present AND (3) sender domain is NOT an official toll agency domain AND (4) no List-Unsubscribe header. False-positive guard
Every signal in Gorganizer feeds a multi-module score — never a sole verdict. This is a warning-tier signal — bulk / marketing / mild spam. It contributes to the trash score but never triggers deletion on its own. Gorganizer requires multiple signals + a margin over the safety floor before any email is moved to trash.
About the scoring engine
Gorganizer's scoring engine emits 2,143+ signals across six modules — headers, sender, subject, body, attachments, and structural metadata. Every email is scored by every module independently; the final verdict requires multiple modules to agree and the trash score to beat the safety floor by a margin.
Sacred safety guards — never delete starred emails, replies, calendar invites, receipts/invoices, or attachments — apply unconditionally regardless of any signal.
