What this tier means
High-confidence threat indicator — phishing, impersonation, BEC, or scam pattern. Strong contributor to the trash decision.
How Gorganizer detects this
Credential phishing disguised as a copyright infringement strike from Instagram, Facebook, or Meta — the email claims the recipient's account or page has received a DMCA / copyright violation report and will be permanently deleted or disabled within 12-48 hours unless they submit an appeal by logging in. The link leads to a fake Meta login page. Key facts: (1) Check Point Research named Meta (Facebook + Instagram) the most impersonated brand in phishing worldwide for multiple quarters; (2) Real Instagram/Facebook copyright notices come exclusively from @instagram.com and @facebookmail.com domains — never from instagram-policy-team.com or similar lookalikes; (3) Real copyright appeals happen inside the Instagram or Facebook app (Profile > Settings > Help > Copyright Reporting) — there is no separate web portal requiring credential re-entry; (4) After credential theft, attackers sell or use the account for further social engineering, scam ads, or sextortion; (5) The Meta Platform Terms state that Meta will never ask for your password via email. Warning signs: non-official sender domain, 12-48 hour deletion threat, request to log in via an external link, "DMCA counter-notice" framing with credential requirement.
False-positive guard
Every signal in Gorganizer feeds a multi-module score — never a sole verdict. This is a threat-tier signal — it adds a strong contribution to the trash score. The full pipeline still requires convergence across multiple modules + a margin over the safety floor before deletion happens, and Gmail's trash (30-day recovery) is always used — never permanent delete.
About the scoring engine
Gorganizer's scoring engine emits 2,143+ signals across six modules — headers, sender, subject, body, attachments, and structural metadata. Every email is scored by every module independently; the final verdict requires multiple modules to agree and the trash score to beat the safety floor by a margin.
Sacred safety guards — never delete starred emails, replies, calendar invites, receipts/invoices, or attachments — apply unconditionally regardless of any signal.
