What this tier means
High-confidence threat indicator — phishing, impersonation, BEC, or scam pattern. Strong contributor to the trash decision.
How Gorganizer detects this
"Pig butchering" (shā zhū pán) romance fraud — the world's fastest-growing online scam type, with the FBI reporting $3.96 billion in losses in 2023. The scammer contacts victims on dating apps, social media, or randomly (wrong-number text), builds a genuine romantic relationship over weeks or months, then introduces a "mentor" (usually an uncle, friend, or financial analyst in Hong Kong, Singapore, or Shanghai) who shares an "exclusive" crypto trading platform with "guaranteed" returns. The victim deposits funds and initially sees fake profits displayed in a convincing dashboard. When they try to withdraw, their account is "frozen" and they must pay a "tax," "insurance fee," or "withdrawal fee" to unlock it — which vanishes. Often run by organised crime syndicates using trafficked workers in Southeast Asia. Key red flags: romantic contact from a stranger + crypto trading platform + guaranteed returns + deposit required to join + fees to withdraw.
False-positive guard
Every signal in Gorganizer feeds a multi-module score — never a sole verdict. This is a threat-tier signal — it adds a strong contribution to the trash score. The full pipeline still requires convergence across multiple modules + a margin over the safety floor before deletion happens, and Gmail's trash (30-day recovery) is always used — never permanent delete.
About the scoring engine
Gorganizer's scoring engine emits 2,143+ signals across six modules — headers, sender, subject, body, attachments, and structural metadata. Every email is scored by every module independently; the final verdict requires multiple modules to agree and the trash score to beat the safety floor by a margin.
Sacred safety guards — never delete starred emails, replies, calendar invites, receipts/invoices, or attachments — apply unconditionally regardless of any signal.
