What this tier means
High-confidence threat indicator — phishing, impersonation, BEC, or scam pattern. Strong contributor to the trash decision.
How Gorganizer detects this
Fake utility company disconnection threat — scammers impersonating electricity, gas, water, or broadband providers call or email claiming the victim's account is severely overdue and service will be disconnected within hours (typically "2 hours" or "4 hours" to maximise panic). Victims are told the only way to prevent disconnection is to call an "emergency billing number" immediately and pay using prepaid debit cards, Google Play gift cards, iTunes gift cards, or wire transfer. Real utilities: (1) never accept gift cards as payment; (2) send multiple written notices over weeks before any disconnection; (3) never demand payment over the phone to a number they call you from; (4) are regulated and must follow statutory disconnection procedures. The FTC and US utility regulators explicitly state that utility companies will never demand gift card payment — if you receive a demand for gift card payment from a "utility," hang up or delete the email immediately.
False-positive guard
Every signal in Gorganizer feeds a multi-module score — never a sole verdict. This is a threat-tier signal — it adds a strong contribution to the trash score. The full pipeline still requires convergence across multiple modules + a margin over the safety floor before deletion happens, and Gmail's trash (30-day recovery) is always used — never permanent delete.
About the scoring engine
Gorganizer's scoring engine emits 2,143+ signals across six modules — headers, sender, subject, body, attachments, and structural metadata. Every email is scored by every module independently; the final verdict requires multiple modules to agree and the trash score to beat the safety floor by a margin.
Sacred safety guards — never delete starred emails, replies, calendar invites, receipts/invoices, or attachments — apply unconditionally regardless of any signal.
