Social Security / Medicare scam — SSN suspended + urgent call / arrest threat / gift-card payment demand

What this tier means
High-confidence threat indicator — phishing, impersonation, BEC, or scam pattern. Strong contributor to the trash decision.
How Gorganizer detects this
Body contains a Social Security Administration, Medicare, or SSN suspension/compromise claim — "Your Social Security number has been suspended", "Your SSN was flagged for criminal activity", or "Your Medicare benefits have been terminated" — AND an illegal pressure tactic the real SSA explicitly states it never uses: an urgent call-back demand ("call immediately to restore your account"), an arrest/warrant threat for failing to respond, a gift card or cryptocurrency payment to "reactivate" benefits, or a request to provide your SSN to "verify identity". The SSA only contacts people by postal mail and never sends emails or calls about benefit suspensions — all such communications are fraudulent. The FTC receives hundreds of thousands of SSA impersonation scam reports each year. If you receive a genuine inquiry from SSA, verify it at ssa.gov or call the official SSA number at 1-800-772-1213.
False-positive guard
Every signal in Gorganizer feeds a multi-module score — never a sole verdict. This is a threat-tier signal — it adds a strong contribution to the trash score. The full pipeline still requires convergence across multiple modules + a margin over the safety floor before deletion happens, and Gmail's trash (30-day recovery) is always used — never permanent delete.
About the scoring engine
Gorganizer's scoring engine emits 2,143+ signals across six modules — headers, sender, subject, body, attachments, and structural metadata. Every email is scored by every module independently; the final verdict requires multiple modules to agree and the trash score to beat the safety floor by a margin.
Sacred safety guards — never delete starred emails, replies, calendar invites, receipts/invoices, or attachments — apply unconditionally regardless of any signal.
