What this tier means
Warning signal — bulk / marketing / mild spam. Contributes to the trash score but is not by itself sufficient.
How Gorganizer detects this
Fake student loan forgiveness re-application email claiming a court ruling or regulatory change requires the recipient to resubmit their forgiveness application via a link NOT ending in .gov or studentaid.gov. Context: SAVE plan litigation (8th Circuit 2024-2026), IDR waiver recalculations, PSLF processing backlog, and frequent policy churn create highly credible urgency narratives. "Due to a recent court ruling, your SAVE plan forgiveness application requires re-submission — re-apply before the deadline to preserve your eligibility." Real student loan forgiveness applications are managed exclusively through studentaid.gov (Federal Student Aid, U.S. Department of Education) and official servicers (MOHELA, Nelnet, Aidvantage). Detection: student loan forgiveness/SAVE/PSLF/IDR vocabulary + re-apply/resubmit/court-ruling language + off-brand href (not .gov or .edu) + sender NOT on studentaid.gov/ed.gov/servicer domain + no In-Reply-To + no List-Unsubscribe. Source: GC1-R17; FTC student loan scam advisory 2025; CFPB student loan servicing alerts.
False-positive guard
Every signal in Gorganizer feeds a multi-module score — never a sole verdict. This is a warning-tier signal — bulk / marketing / mild spam. It contributes to the trash score but never triggers deletion on its own. Gorganizer requires multiple signals + a margin over the safety floor before any email is moved to trash.
About the scoring engine
Gorganizer's scoring engine emits 2,143+ signals across six modules — headers, sender, subject, body, attachments, and structural metadata. Every email is scored by every module independently; the final verdict requires multiple modules to agree and the trash score to beat the safety floor by a margin.
Sacred safety guards — never delete starred emails, replies, calendar invites, receipts/invoices, or attachments — apply unconditionally regardless of any signal.
