Visa / immigration scam — fake visa/green card approval + processing fee to release documents

What this tier means
High-confidence threat indicator — phishing, impersonation, BEC, or scam pattern. Strong contributor to the trash decision.
How Gorganizer detects this
Body contains a visa, green card, work permit, or Diversity Visa lottery approval claim — typically impersonating USCIS, an embassy, a consulate, or a "DV lottery" service — AND demands an advance processing, clearance, activation, or issuance fee before the documents can be released. Real USCIS, embassies, and consulates never email recipients asking for fees after an approval — all legitimate visa fees are paid upfront through official government payment portals (pay.gov, uscis.gov/forms, ds-160.state.gov). The "pay a fee to receive your approved documents" script is an advance-fee fraud variant; no government agency issues an approval and then withholds it pending payment. Also catches DV Lottery "congratulations, you were selected" emails that ask for a registration fee — the actual DV lottery is free and winners are never notified by email (you must check status on dvprogram.state.gov).
False-positive guard
Every signal in Gorganizer feeds a multi-module score — never a sole verdict. This is a threat-tier signal — it adds a strong contribution to the trash score. The full pipeline still requires convergence across multiple modules + a margin over the safety floor before deletion happens, and Gmail's trash (30-day recovery) is always used — never permanent delete.
About the scoring engine
Gorganizer's scoring engine emits 2,143+ signals across six modules — headers, sender, subject, body, attachments, and structural metadata. Every email is scored by every module independently; the final verdict requires multiple modules to agree and the trash score to beat the safety floor by a margin.
Sacred safety guards — never delete starred emails, replies, calendar invites, receipts/invoices, or attachments — apply unconditionally regardless of any signal.
