Frequently Asked Questions
Is Proton Mail more private than Gmail?
Yes. Proton Mail offers end-to-end encryption for emails between Proton users and stores data in Swiss jurisdiction with zero-knowledge architecture. Gmail scans email content for spam filtering and (historically) for advertising. The privacy tradeoff requires adopting a new email address.
Can Gorganizer work with Proton Mail?
No. Gorganizer uses the Gmail API and works exclusively with Gmail and Google Workspace accounts. ProtonMail uses its own API and email infrastructure.
Should I switch to Proton Mail or clean my Gmail inbox?
If privacy from Google is your primary concern, Proton Mail is a strong alternative. If you want to stay on Gmail but clean up years of spam and junk, Gorganizer is the right tool — $4.99 once, no address change required.
